DIPLOMA OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Although there are not any formal prerequisites for this course, students must:
- be working in a role within the hospitality industry and environment
- have completed a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent
- undertake an online LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the program

UNITS OF COMPETENCY
To gain a full qualification in, a total of 28 units must be completed comprising 11 core and 17 elective units
COMPLETION / CERTIFICATION
Students that successfully complete all 28 units of competency as stated in the Course Structure will be issued with SIT50422 Certificate IV in Hospitality.
Students who successfully complete some units of competency will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited unit(s) in which they have been deemed competent.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
