Who is this for?

The intended learner for this program will be persons who are working in operational roles in the hospitality industry who want to gain the knowledge and skills to become managers in their field.

Course overview

Reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial skills and sound knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate independently, have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager. The diversity of employers includes restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible to enrol, learner must:

  • be working in a role within the hospitality industry and environment

  • have completed a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent

  • undertake an online LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the program
